What we treat

What we treat

We treat a range of skin conditions, including:

Squamous cell cancers (SCC), basal cell cancers (BCC), and intraepithelial cancers (IEC) / Bowen’s disease

Keloids

Inoperable Melanoma of the skin

Field cancerisation, where large areas of skin have been sun-damaged.

Mycosis fungoides, Kaposi Sarcoma, lymphomas of the skin

DSAP - Disseminated Superficial Actinic Porokeratosis

Palliative skin cancers

But more important to us than “what we treat” is “who we treat”. We treat everyday people who have skin conditions. It is our pleasure to take care of them and help them make the right decision about their skin care.

How we treat

Our treatment is non-invasive, but it does require a process.
We offer between 3-12 treatments depending on the diagnosis, extent of disease, site of disease and other factors. Each treatment takes about 1-2 minutes. We can treat up to 6 areas at a time.

Initial consultation with our doctor lasts about 20-30 minutes.

Skin review and care as required.

A planning process with the doctor and radiation therapy.

Post-treatment review by the doctor and regular review and monitoring of your skin's health.

Treatment by the radiation therapist - during this time, an X-ray will be applied to the affected skin. Patients typically do not report pain during the application, and our staff are committed to ensuring your comfort.

We use low-energy X-rays and Grenz rays to specifically target the skin.
